concerning the system restore... should i turn on protection for the RECOVERY drive too?? it was off... i guess thats okay, i kind of got confused with all on and off, sorry!

It's ok to have that drive's system restore disabled

and concerning the internet explorer i couldnt find the
Installation of desktop items
and the
Navigate sub-frames across different domains
i only have the
navigate windows and frames across different domains which is disabled
is that okay?

Yes, that's ok. Newer IE versions don't have those options.

furthermore can i uninstall the erunt program too? or should i keep it on the system?

You can uninstall it.
