Pop-ups and Smitfraud.C Toolbar888

Anyone please help me. I have a problem with so called anti-spyware pop-ups and Spybot S&D keeps returning the Smitfraud.C Toolbar 888 - which it/I can't get rid of. Its driving me crazy.

Any help would be much appreciated.
