I ran some checks on my mother's PC, and found what appears to be 2 keyloggers, and some possible other spyware. Logs are posted below.

Those findings are not bad ones.

However, I'm not sure about this entry:

Show hidden files
-----------------
* Click Start.
* Open My Computer.
* Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
* Select the View Tab.
* Under the Hidden files and folders heading select Show hidden files and folders.
* Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
* Click Yes to confirm.
* Click OK.


Upload following file (if found) to http://virusscan.jotti.org or http://www.virustotal.com and post back the results:

Download Deckard's System Scanner (DSS) to your Desktop. Note: You must be logged onto an account with administrator privileges.
  1. Close all applications and windows.
  2. Double-click on dss.exe to run it, and follow the prompts.
  3. When the scan is complete, two text files will open - main.txt <- this one will be maximized and extra.txt<-this one will be minimized
  4. Copy (Ctrl+A then Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of main.txt and the extra.txt to your post. in your reply

Thanks for the reply. Seeing something named 'keylogger' made me somewhat suspicious.

The 'cross' file is legit. It's a commercial program my mother uses for cataloging reference material for church libraries.

I'll let her know her machine is fine. I told her not to use it until I told her otherwise, as I didn't know if those files were capturing her login/password information.
