Possible Tools » System Startup facility bug

I was experimenting because of the questions raised following thread:

It appears that there may be a bug in the Tools » System Startup facility (Spybot - Search & Destroy 1.6.0.30). I just added an entry to the following registry key and in the System Startup facility listing the entry appeared as active (not disabled) WinLogon entry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Notify_Disabled

In addition it appears that WinLogon entries can no longer be disabled. Is that by design or is that a defect?

Indeed, the status was not read properly, and toggling was not possible therefore either.

Added as issue 341.

Btw, the Tools section will be replaced by a sped up version of RunAlyzer in the next release, so an 1.6.1 will be the last version where this would be shown this way. But the bug affected RunAlyzer as well, so it was double important to report it

In Spybot 1.6.2.46 the toggling bewteen the HKLM\...\Winlogon\Notify and HKLM\...\Winlogon\Notify_Disabled registry keys appears to work correctly. However it appears that you cannot delete entries from either of those registry key.

Please check the logic before moving the routines to RunAlyzer.
