post clean problems

awhile ago you guys helped me out alot with my computer, completely cleaning it. the only problem now is that my windows installer doesnt work. i get an error message saying that the windows installer service couldnt be accessed and it might be because i was in safe mode. i have tried updated the windows installer service, but that didnt work either. without it i can't update to sp2 and i can't install anything else.

any help would be greatly appreciated.
