Hi again :)

have my Windows update set to update automatically at 3am. Does it not update all Critical updates at that time or do I need to manually make sure?

It does get critical updates automatically, assuming that system is running at that time.

I ran a Norton scan and it came up with a virus that it resolved named
MH690.A and called it a Heuristic virus. It's something I hadn't seen come down the pike before. Just wondering what a Heuristic virus was and is it something new to be concerned with.

Did you notice which location that finding was detected in?
 
Heuristic virus

I don't see anywhere where it mentions location. I can just give you the read from Norton:

Severity -High
Activity -Suspicious MH690.A detected by Auto-protect
Status -Removed
Action -Resolved


It gives Definitions version, Eraser version, Risk name -Suspicious MH690.A, Risk catagory -Heuristic virus, Risk type -file based, and the same info as above. Sorry.
