I don't have it and didn't read about such a problem till now. But may you check if it has something to do with immunizations (as there seem to be some problems with it). Therefore open S&D Start Center, click "Immunize the System", right click "Select all" and "Test System". If there is anything else than 0 got to the left navigation bar, choose "Undo immunization". Then restart system and check again for Google Earth problems.
