Problem with Spybot 1.6.0.31

New member
Ran an update of Spybot recently, and found a new version to install. Since installing ver 1.6.0.31, every time I boot up Win XP, the Spybot program folder (ie C:\Program Files\Spybot) opens on the desktop. Have no idea how to get rid of this! So I've just been closing the folder each time I start my PC.

Is there a setting I'm not aware of to remove this?

Hello,

Please have a look what files from Spybot you have in the system startup.
Open Spybot in the advanced mode via the menu item mode, go to 'tools'->'System Startup'.
