Did I install...

Is that program infected? I do not see a uninstall icon for it on the Add or Remove Programs list. How should I do it?

No but if you ever need it again it will be out of date.
Delete these two folders in bold.
D:\roberto's\tools\set-up files\installed\SmitFraudFix
D:\roberto's\tools\set-up files\Stand Alone Working Programs\SmitFraudFix

If you cleaned out your restore points that should do it.

Still the same...

I did clean the restore points, but nothing happened, still the same. It still freezes on the same web pages. I really don't know what to do next. I am thinking to do a full reformat of the hard drive. If you have any more ideas let me know.

If I have to do a full reformat, what programs do I need to install as a minimum to be protected against virus, mal-ware, trojans, spy-ware, etc?
