is there any programs out there that will tell you what files and what regestry files etc are add when a program is installed? ie i install spybot S&D the program tells me what files it installed and where same with registry files if there is a program out there like that or similar please tell me.thanks in advance for the answer.

The classic among those tools would probably be InCtrl5, but that's quite outdated - still useful for regular software. More powerful are SysInternals' RegMon and FileMon (or even ProcMon).
