Releasing source code of old tools?

Hello,
As a long time Spybot S&D user, I find it sad that many of the old
tools and utilties now have dead download links and have become extinct.
I think these tools should be put up on github with a free software
license (GPL?), so that users
can continue to upkeep and build off of them. This will intern result in more powerful software for everyone.

Tools that should be free:
* Old versions of Spybot S&D?
* FileAlyzer
* RegAlyzer
* NetAlyzer
* RunAlyzer
* RootAlyzer
* RegAlyzer
* OpenSBI/Editor
