Running Spybot S&D in Windows Safe Mode

Are there any advantages to running Spybot S&D 1.6 in Windows Safe Mode (Windows XP Pro), rather than simply running as an administrator?

however
If spybot will not complete a scan
or
if spybot has trouble removing something
or if you think something is interfering
then sure
