I find it slow and buggy.Curious to know why you would like to disable? You don't find the feature helpful?
Yes in Windows Explorer. Are you talking about right-click scans?
See what I mean? Why does my SpyBot v1.6's FULL scan with everything takes about five minutes of all my HDDs (three C: to IOkay, I see what you mean about taking forever. My initial scans were on smaller 10-50mb files. Those scans seemed to be normal times. But when I scanned a 390mb folder, it was insanely long... I had to quit. But I have not had any crashes.
Is there a way to have Spybot's internal full scan to do all files? I'd like to do that even if it takes hours. I don't want to do it via Explorer.Spybot's full scan (from within the app) does not scan all the files on your drives. It looks for specific files in specific places and in specific registry entries.
The right click scan, of course does scan the files or folders you've selected
