Somehow it was able to download and install without my knowledge.
It made all my security certificates wonky, and firefox wouldn't load any common pages, such as Google, UBIsoft etc.

Please add.

I don't know how I missed this, guess I'm getting old.

Were you on the Sendori site when the software downloaded, do you see it in ADD/REMOVE programs?

What is the operating system and which security software is installed.
