slow computer, lockups etc.

I ran the hard drive check. first time I ran it and went to work, came home to a black screen error reading-

your computer cannot come out of hibernation

Status: 0xc000009a

Info: A fatal error occurred processing the restoration data.

File:\hibernation.sys


so after getting the computer rebooted. I ran the hard disk check again and watched it so it would not go in to hibernation. it ran through fully and did not find any bad sectors etc.
 
Hi,

I think it's best to troubleshoot this sleep/hibernation issue on forum that has areas for non-malware issues too. One example of such forums would be Tech Support Guy.
