Slow System

I've run Search & Destroy to clean up my system and it's coming up clean. Hooray!! It was bad.
I'm having a problem loading web site pages to read. Some are absolutely slow!! I mean "leave the room and come back" slow. I'm running "McAfee" as well as Spybot. Is there something I can check/do to fix this?? Any suggestions are appreciated.

well, your system could be running slow for various reasons, but you might aswell try disk cleanup.

-Start - all programs - accessories - system tools - disk cleanup

-Check "Tempory Internet Files", "Recycle Bin", "Temporary Files"

-then click "ok"

If your system still is acting slow - perform a disk defrag

-Start - all programs - accessories - system tools - disk defrag
