Spybot Free Edition vs Windows 11 vs Windows Defender

According to the FAQ "Is it possible to run Spybot and Windows Defender?" posted at https://www.safer-networking.org/support/spybot-2-faq/ the instructions are for Windows 10.

Trying these same steps under Windows 11 does not produce the same result. Instead, the software protects itself and automatically re-enables the Security Center Service. This is also the case when trying to disable the service under Services in Computer Management.

Are there approved instructions on how users can disable the Security Center Service under Windows 11 so that the Free Edition of Spybot can co-exist with Windows Defender so both can perform their intended functions?

Thanks.

Hi. I checked under the Services tab in Spybot by following the instructions on the support page:
Open Spybot by right clicking on the Spybot icon and click Run as Administrator.
Click on Show details in the bottom right corner of the Start Center.
Open Settings (Tick the checkbox next to Advanced User Mode if you do not see Settings)
In Settings, go to the System Services tab.
Here, click Stop beside the Security Center Service.
And I no longer have the Spybot Security Center service listed there. As far as I recall, I didn't remove it myself in anyway, though I do remember there being a time when there was an Access Denied error when attempting to stop the service.

So, I would presume perhaps the Spybot Security Center Service was removed in either later updates or later editions? I'm not sure on that. Could you perhaps check for Updates in Spybot? And check if you have the latest edition as well? I currently have the Spybot 2.9 edition.
