I have installed Spybot Search & Destroy (1.4) on this computer. What happens is that: When the applet appears to "allow" or "disallow" a certain change, the "remember this" box overlaps the "allow" box, and the "disallow" box is malformed. Both have no executive action. I have downloaded this program from several different sources. And I have done several installations. (The md5sum checks out). They all lead to the same "malformed" applet. Now what?? I really like the program, and sort of feel at a loss without it!!

Check out this thread-there is the inital fix on page 1, by Elpiedra and there are two patches-I used the ElPiedra fix.
