Spybot not "launching" (stays in background); help

Hi, I just did a fresh install of Windows and now Spybot 1.5 is not launching. The process does start, but nothing pops up. It just stays in the background and uses half my CPU.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Spybot 1.5 was sometimes slow to start,so you could try the new beta.
