Spybot running slowly

I have got Spybot v4 and it is now running really slowly when I check for problems. Before it would scan quite fast, but now it is a lot slower to scan.
Can someone please help?

I am having the same problem. Seemd to happen about 2 months ago for me right after an update... might just be a coincidence.

Thanks for the post, although I don't think that applies to me. I don't think I've got 'HT Technology'.
