Spybot S&D After reformatting

Hey, I just reformatted my computer after some virus problems. I downloaded spybot and did a search only to find that I had 640,000 files that it was scanning through. This is how many I had before I reformatted. Is this normal or did I mess up somewhere during the reformatting. My hard drive is clean and fully empty and everything looks brand new.
 
The 640,000+ files you see down beside Running bot-check doesn't indicate that Spybot is checking that many files on your computer.
It's showing how many things Spybot is checking for.
