Spybot S&D alternative logo concepts

I have used simulated Vista Icons and IcoFX 1.6, by combining icons and using effects. Formats:
256x256 32b
128x128 32b
96x96 32b
64x64 32b
48x48 32b
32x32 32b
24x24 32b
16x16 32b
48x48 256
32x32 256
24x24 256
16x16 256
48x48 16
32x32 16
24x24 16
16x16 16

The possibly problem is for 16 colors users (Win9X) that the icons look somehow flicked in 16 colors.

Actually, both look better than any custom icon suggestions I've seen in quite some time! And better than the one our 2.0 designer has suggested so far imho! (his new logo attempt, which you can already see a glimpse of in the Explorer right click context menu file scanner, looks nicer though imho).

TeaTimer is surely the most complicated thing, since it needs to be easily recognizable in the tiny 16x16 format in the tray bar. Btw, the on-access scanner for 2.0 has the internal working name "Coffee Lounge" currently.
Doesn't really need to be part of the icon though, who would understand that? :D

I kind of feel tempted to use one of these icons for the internal test versions I'm playing around with ;)
 
@PepiMK, I think it would mean *cough alot cough* to us (or just me :laugh:) if you could use one of the "Vista-lized" Spybot-SD icons. :santa: In my opinion, I like Tom K.'s if you don't mind. Hehe.

On a more serious note, not everyone has vista and i'm sure some people won't like the shiny icons (I love 'em - especially TomKs) - will people have to live with them? (I'm no expert in this as you have probably gathered by now :p:)
 
Full Icon prewiew (Spybot-S&D, Blindman, Updater)

Just icon prewiew in all formats. Because i don't have any webspace, I have compressed 3 pictures of icon prewiew in Zip file. I had to use jpg format, because it had low image size.
 
Tom, it looks good.

I'm not sure if this was done on purpose or not, but I noticed that the icon "48x48 16" was... well it looked like it was rendered in 8-bit color. It sounds like the time when Windows 98 users were reporting that the icons in the Immunize section was 'faded'.

Blindman/Spybot 32x32 and 24x24 icons modified
Images will be available soon.

Still, no sucess on TeaTimer :( . Finding images (PNG) with Google didn't made so much.
 
TeaTimer Icon Preview

Here is a TeaTimer icon prewiew (attachment). (Thanks Fedix for link!)
I have made .ico format, but I don't have any web-space and size of one icon is about 100-200 K and I don't want still to upload them. Maybe I should remove 96x96 format. I will make full prewiew as soon as possible.

Alternate Logo Suggestion

Hey I've had this logo hanging around (I posted it on the forum awhile back) and personally I think it's a good reinterpretation of the current logo. I'm just offering it up here.

@ airpowersurge: I think that looks great! It still has the current recognisable Spybot feel and I like the orange :clown:
