Spybot - S&D Stalls at Finish

When I run Spybot - S&D, it completes the scan and stalls. I cannot click on the red x in the corner to close it. The only way I can close it is to use Task Manager. Should I uninstall and reinstall Spybot or is it something that I am or am not doing?
 
During the running of a Spybot scan ("Check for problems") there is a status bar in the lower left hand corner of the "Search & Destroy screen":
  • Running bot-check(xxxxx/yyyyy:zzzzzz).
  • xx problems found (mm:ss).
  • etc.
What does that status bar say when "it completes the scan and stalls"?

Are you getting a "Congratulations!: No immediate threats were found. ()" message or some other indication that scan completed?
