Spybot won't start

Spybot won't start. I tried to download a new version and my computer stops downloading.
I tried to download other spyware programs and everytime, my computer stops the dowloading.
Any ideas as to what is happening

Please see if you can do two on-line anti virus scans (one at a time) and then download hjt as per the instructions in the following link.
