I also need help manually loading Spybot S&D. I've downloaded the .exe file to my thumbdrive but cannot get access to the internet so the updated cannot install.

If you've downloaded Spybot-Search&Destroy to a flashdrive, you can either execute it from there or drag-and-drop to your Desktop and execute it there.
During installation, untick the option "Check for Updates Immediately" so Spybot will not connect to the Internet.
