Ok there is something that we can do (a little cleaning) to free your resoueces...

BigFix or BigFix.exe process can be removed to free up resources without compromising system performance. BigFix or BigFix.exe can automatically download and read technical support information provided by computer and software manufacturers and other technical support experts (published in the form of Fixlet® Messages) and can automatically check your computer for bugs, configuration conflicts, and security holes. It should only be started manually as it's a resource hog. This program is not required to start automatically as you can start it manually if you need it. It is advised that you disable this program so that it does not take up necessary resources. Many users have reported this process slows their boot time. It may be worthwhile to fix it with HijackThis. This is the item to fix in HijackThis:

O4 - Global Startup: BigFix.lnk = C:\Program Files\BigFix\BigFix.exe

Then you have all these unnecessary programs loading with windows. These are eating your memory. If you want to speed up the computer and free some resources you may fix the following entries with HijackThis:

Restart the computer and notice the difference.

reboots faster

Hi,
I Did your fixes except for a couple of adobe acrobat things and bootup is much faster. Thanks!
cpu sounds as if it is still running all the time (at least the fan) but maybe that is normal... Its been a while since normal.
Do you think things are good now?
What's next?

Yes it is normal that the fan is running all the time - otherwise your computer would get overheated.

You can remove the tools we used.

I am working on your list of protections. I have just one more question though, do I need to remove the tool programs with add/ remove or just delete them?

You may just delete tools like ComboFix and fix.reg :bigthumb:
