Trouble with updating.

When I tried to update today whatever part was updating would get line through it and under "info" the word "checksum" appears.What does thid mean,and is there a problem?Thanks.

checksum

click on the 1st black down arrow to the right of search for updates and that will give you another site to download from.then click download updates again after checking them.

A Bad Checksum indicates that the MD5 hash value of the downloaded file did not match the expected MD5 hash value of that file. In other words the file was not downloaded properly and the update was not completed.

Bad Checksums are usually occur because the download of the update file timed out, although there can be other causes.
