I tried to immunize today and I get an error message that it can't be done completely because I'm not an administrator.

I am the administrator. Only account on the machine.

Ideas?

Unfortunately, when I downloaded Spybot at another site, it installed some not-so-nice software.

I've managed to go in and delete most of the stuff but my Chrome start page was highjacked by some site trovi.com that created a new bing search/start page. I was able to get my start page back and used blocksite to completely block trovi.com, but I'm concerned that spybot isn't detecting anything.

Any ideas?

You need to elevate Spybot's permissions:
How can I get administrator rights under Windows Vista / Windows 7 / Windows 8?
