trying to understand selecting a location

Okay, I'm trying to do an update and I have to choose a place near my current location...huh???

there are several usa places and I have no, I mean no idea what these are and more important how do I know which one is "near me"..so, can I just pick anyone that is in the U.S.??

I am sooo clueless...oh, I do know I',m in the US. ; )

You can select any of the download sites presented and it will update. It's just that the ones closer to you may be faster.
