Uninstall Spybot 1.5 from my system

I am unable to uninstall Spybot 1.5 from my system due to the following message: I need permission to perform this action. Evidently the support people who installed this on my laptop, didn't want to give me (the owner of the laptop) permission to manage my own system. I need tech support to tell me how to make me (the owner of the lap top) be the person who has administrative powers over my laptop. MMM
 
What is your Operating System?

If you are running a Limited Account, I do not think there is a way to uninstall Spybot-SD completely from the computer. You'll need Administer rights to perform the uninstallation.

May I ask why you are attempting to uninstall? Is it to upgrade to the latest version or remove it completely?

Edit: If you are the owner of the labtop, then aren't you the Administer of it?
