Unremovable viruses on PC!

After running Sophos antivirus software, it detected TTC-Gen trojan and SmlDlB-GEN trojan. The infected files are Dc6.dll and MFEX-1.DAT repectively. How do I get rid of them? Sophos isn't able to clean them up.

One of the major symptoms is that I've been getting pop-up windows periodically.

What do I do???
