I updated the include and associated files for S&D 1.2. The system crashed and I had to cut power and then reboot. When the system came up the first time, I could not open any files or folders or applications. In an attempt to get some response, I warm rebooted and everything seems to be working now. This is not the latest beta version, but I did not get any warnings. Also, I have other anti-spyware that is installed. I do run one online continuously, but I can choose which program I want use. All are well noted in the wild and I rotate periodically. I looked for stablity problems in articles and found none for this version. Any thoughts on what i did wrong?

Updates for Spybot 1.2 have not been available since March 2004. Upgrade to Spybot 1.4 unless you are running a Windows 95 system in which case upgrade to Spybot 1.3.
