User abort

Recently, whenever I try to check for problems in Search and Destroy it stops part ways through and says "User Abort" when I haven't actually done anything.
Help please!

I ran into the same problem when I updated to 1.5.2.20 and manually downloaded the definitions. I get a message that the scan was aborted by the user, which is not true. See message #7 in the following thread:
