v1.6 and Windows 98

Can anyone comment on whether the resource problems when running "Check for Updates" under Windows 98 still exist with v1.6.x Final.

I just installed 1.6 and checked for updates
I had done a removal via Add/Remove of 1.5 as well as un-immuzining
I did not see any performance hit with the update procedure
re-immunizing went faster than un-immunizing

is greatly improved. Does not take as long as it used to, especially on older windows versions. You should have no problems
