Vario Antivirus Removal

Hi,

You could see if it's hosts related thing:
Download the HostsXpert.

* Unzip HostsXpert to a convenient folder such as C:\HostsXpert
* Click HostsXpert.exe to Run HostsXpert from its new home
* Click
Make Hosts Writable?
in the upper right corner (If available).
* Click Restore Microsoft's Hosts file and then click OK.
* Click the X to exit the program.
* Note: If you were using a custom Hosts file you will need to replace any of those entries yourself.

That restores hosts file to default one.

Hi Blade.

I'm so sorry about this very late reply. Been busy with work lately, didn't have the chance to try out the solution.

As it were, the Facebook pages seem to be loading normally now, at least for the time being. I believe it could be a problem with my ISP, but I'll try the HostXpert thingy if it crops up again. Does this mean that I shouldn't / cannot use the Hosts file that was recommended?

Hi,

Hosts file shouldn't block legit Facebook related sites so it's possible your earlier issue was just ISP related hiccup.

Hi Blade.

I really appreciate all the help and advice you've given me these few weeks...

So far, no other problems experienced by my PC / laptop. I guess we could close this case now. Once again, thanks so much for your time! =) :bigthumb:
