I own an Dell Inspiron1501 with Windows XP PRO w/ SP2 and I removed a Virtuemonde infection via SpyBot S&D program and whenever I restart it says, "Error loading C:\WINDOWS\system32\tcydjjgw.dll". How do I get rid of this error message for good?

I also have this same issue with a custom computer. Its got Windows XP PRO W/ SP2. The files it can't find are not the same and it appears 2-3 times at startup. It lists different files.

Apparently there are still remnants of the Virtuemonde infection on your system or some entirely different problem. Malware removal advice is not given in the Spybot-S&D forum.

I suggest that you:
  1. Ask tashi to reopen you original thread in the Malware Removal forum.
    --- or ---
  2. Start a new thread in the Malware Removal forum.

spartan948265 already asked for help in the Malware Removal forum on this site and abandoned that thread before the Virtuemonde removal was complete.

maybe you could run "hijackthis" and, in the scan-results, it will show a regkey that is pointing to the missing file, and you can use hijackthis to remove the regkey.. ...
Actually it is quite likely that HijackThis will not show a registry entry pointing to the tcydjjgw.dll because it did not originally. It is more likely that there is still a program being executed calling for the tcydjjgw.dll.
