Virtumonde- Am i clean?

You lost me, I was sure you told me you knew what those were? If not, delete them, the files in red should do it.

C:\Program Files\UltraVNC\vnchooks.dll <<< delete the file
C:\Program Files\Hero_Online\XPatch.exe <<< delete the file
C:\Program Files\UltraVNC\winvnc.exe <<< delete the file

Thanks

yes, i do know the files but what im trying to say is that i deleted them to see if there would be a change in the virus scan there wasn't

the Xpatch is a updater to a game and the winvnc is a program that alows u to access a persons desktop to assist with things.

Understand, for some reason Kaspersky is seeing those items as a problem and indicating them that way. If they are valid, leave them alone, but Kaspersky's scan is not going to change until you remove them.

Thanks

I think my comp is fine now from everything but i want to make shure by reformatting hardrive just incase because my dad did the same with his laptop because the virus got on the network. The thing is that i lost my recovery cd or reformat cd and cant reformat my hard drive. Is there a way to buy or request a new recovery cd from microsoft?? i realllly need help!

To my knowledge a "recovery" CD is somethingcomputer manufacturers give you, see this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Recovery_CD
If you want an actual copy of Windows XP you would have to purchase it. Microsoft may sell you one for less if you can provide a license number and tell them you lost the old one, but don't quote me on that. You can ask them here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/home/howtobuy/default.mspx
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/home/howtobuy/addlic.mspx

You may also be able to talk the manufacturer out of a copy of the "Recovery" disk if you tell them you lost the first one?

Hope this helps...Phil
