Looks like we got them all, but kaspersky is still finding them in your recycle bin...

So please empty your recycle bin, then tun one more KASPERSKY SCAN ... just to confirm we're done

I just remembered that I had turned tea-timer off and turned it back on and the moment I did so, I began to be bombarded with registry entry pop ups again. I was getting these before I started to run any fixes. Its a continual flow of pop up after pop up. (from spybot S&D) alerting of registry changes.

This current one is category: Global browser toolbar

OK don't panic ...

It may have been teatimer noticing the changes we had made in removing the malware ...in which case you should have allowed the changes ...

But then if it was new malware you should have denied the changes .... without knowing what the popups were referencing I don't know if you should have allowed or denied them, or in fact whether you did deny or allow them ...

What version of spybot are you running ? is it the latest version 1.5

Im running the latest version of SpyBot S &D and I didn't allow the changes.

But ten I turned tea timer off because when its on my screen is taken over by the spybot registry pop ups.

If its turned off does it auto allow the changes?

When it's turned off, it doesn't even see the changes being made, & shouldn't react to them when turned on again ...

Let's try this ...

You can edit the "White & Black List" entries that TeaTimer uses to automatically "Allow" or "Deny" changes that were based on the use of "Remember this decision" as follows:Right click on the TeaTimer system tray icon and select Settings. This will bring up TeaTimer's "White & Black List". There are four (4) Buttons across the top of the "White & Black List":
Allowed processes
Blocked processes
Allowed registry changes
Blocked registry changes

Note: If you don't see all four buttons, try expanding the window to the right.
You can review all the entries that you have stored by clicking on these buttons. The entries that you should review are in "Allowed registry changes" and "Blocked registry changes". You can delete entries by clicking on the scripted black "X" to the right of the entry that you want to delete and then clicking the "OK" button when you're done. This will in effect make TeaTimer forget what you told it to remember so that during future changes to these items TeaTimer will issue a pop-up dialogue rather then just a notification pop-up.

SO ... delete ALL the entries in both of these lists :-

Allowed registry changes
Blocked registry changes

Then turn teatimer back on & see what happens ...

OK Ive done that and turned tea timer back on.

I noticed when looking through to find the tea timer settings that I'm actually running 1.4 How do I upgrade to 1.5? Do I need to uninstall 1.4 first?

Never mind this bit, I relaunched it later and its now updating :)

But I would still like to upgrade to the latest version, but Im not sure if deleting 1.4 will undo any changes its made, so will wait to hear back first :)

You wont see them in those lists, these are the one spybot has black listed not you.

when I hover the cursor, I have over 41,000 processes black listed. with version 1.5

Go to add/remove programs & uninstall spybot from there ...

Then download & install the new version from here :-

http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/

Once installed, click Tools > Resident ... make sure both boxes "SDHelper" & "Resident" have a checkmark in them ...

Then click Spybot S & D (left hand side) > Immunize > click the + Immunize button

Then click update > search > download updates > once downloaded...

click the + Immunize button again ...

After you have done all that I'd like you run Combofix & hijackthis again & post fresh logs, just to make sure nothing has got in ...
