Virtumonde & Smitfraud

Like a lot of others it seems, our Windows XP machine has Smitfraud and Virtumonde viruses, which Spybot recognises but doesn't remove (although it says it has fixed the problem). McAfee virus scan doesn't even recognise them. I have not noticed any particular change in the computer's behaviour. What do I need to do? (I'm not super computer literate!)
