virus site and others blocked

Hi,

Since moving home and trying to get on to BT, it seems I have a virus that prevents access to some sites such as BT and perhaps more inportantly my free version to AVG does not connect.

I can connect via interent link to such as BBC

Tried malware, but will not download.

Did a PC check and it says Tagasaurus -would this cause above problem.

Any help to how I can get rid of what viruse I have please?

I need more info from you, what opereating system are you using?????


Download Trendmicros Hijackthis to your desktop.

• Double click it to install
• Follow the prompts and by default it will install in C:\Program Files\Trendmicro\Hijackthis\Highjackthis.exe
• Open HJT Scan and Save a Log File, it will open in Notepad
• Go to Format and make sure Wordwrap is Unchecked
• Go to Edit> Select All.....Edit > Copy and Paste the new log into this thread by using the Submit Reply and not start a New Thread.

DO NOT have HijackThis fix anything yet. Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.
