Virus that replaces characters on webpage with spaces?

This is a very strange one... you might have a webpage that says something like this for example:
Add New Page

But it shows up as this:
A d ew a e

The letters are not the wrong color, they are completely missing and replaced with spaces. I have seen it on both Firefox, Google Chrome and Chromium so it is not browser dependent. It seems to happen randomly and occaissionally.

I have updated and run Spybot, Malwarebytes, Ad-Aware and Avast and they all say my system is clean.

Anybody hear of anything like this before? I searched but did find any other complaints of this type of virus?
