You may delete that. Don't think it should be there.

and, like I said before, for the longest time I saw a autorun.inf file on the flash drive, not hidden, and I just assumed it was supposed to be there (I'm not talking about the one flash disinfector put there).

Is the file still there? If it is what's the contents while opened in Notepad? Presence of autorun.inf file itself doesn't indicate infection. It's the contents of the file that counts.


Now lets uninstall ComboFix:
  • Click START then RUN
  • Now type "c:\documents and settings\Alexa\Desktop\ComboFix.exe" /u in the runbox and click OK
 
I can't delete the recycler file in the flash drive. It tells me that the file is called "Desktop.ini" and that it could screw up my pc to delete it. my pc seems to think that the recycle bin in my flash drive is the same one as on my desktop.

there is an autorun.inf on the flashdrive now, but the file says it was installed by flash disinfect. where the other one i was seeing a while ago went...i don't know.

The autorun.inf file might had been removed when you ran flash disinfector. You may leave the recycler folder there. It's actually ok.

So, in case there're no other infection related alarms I think the system is clean.
 
Thank you very much for all your help. Just in case it is important to your notation, the silly virus's location was in F:\Recycler. That was why I originally thought it came from my flash drive. I had forgotten.
