VirusProtectPro infiltration HELP!

I am doing battle with this myself and nothing seems to work. Despite the plethora of malware spyware removal tools. I see it was intended to be countered by Spybot S&D but it isn't finding or deleting it in my case... could this be a new variation on the trojan / malware?

Please advise. I am full willing and capable of jumping through whatever hoops is required, simply point and i'll leap.

We would need to see logs in order to find out.


If you can find the file/s, please zip and send to: detections(AT)spybot.info (Replace AT with @)

If you cannot, please don't concern yourself.

update - scan failure

When following the directions above I can't get through step 1 scanning with Kaspersky. I set my security to Medium and I am logged into safe mode (w/ net support)under administrator. Windows has stopped this because it cannot verify the publisher, after I approve the Active X controller.

I am proceeding to scan with SpyBot S&D and will subsequently relog into windows proper to install and provide a HJT log.
