Vista Guardian infection

Somehow my PC has gotten infected with "Vista Guardian" which seems to be a malware that reports that your computer is infected and wants you to give your credit card in order to purchase the software to remove it.

My version (1.6.2) of Spybot does not detect it and I have the latest update.

Does anyone know how to get rid of this beast?

If HJT won't run please start a new topic anyway, make note of the situation and and a volunteer analyst will advise you when available.
