Hi all,
I was facing a problem on my internet connection whereby every now and then the connection would all of a suddenly freeze and the Connections Tray would hang and not respond at all.
The only way to start up the connection again would be to restart the computer.
On someones recommendation I tried using a program called CurrPorts that "displays the list of all currently opened TCP/IP and UDP ports
on your local computer. For each port in the list, information about the
process that opened the port is also displayed, including the process
name, full path of the process, version information of the process
(product name, file description, and so on), the time that the process
was created, and the user that created it."
While looking at the list of programs I noticed an Unknown Process showing a remote host name "webx57.aruba.it"
When I googled it - it turned out that the site is listed as a malware site.
I am a little concerned now as to why this site happens to be connecting to my PC? I have scanned my PC with both Spybot as well as Ad Aware but both did not detect anything.'
Am attaching a HJT log along with this message...lemme know if there is something i should be concerned about or am I merely paranoid.
