Could be the premonition of something about to go bonkers. Ours is fixed, felt sorry for the repairman working on it, humidity was so thick you could cut it with a knife......

Relief!

That's what I'm afraid of. It's ancient, but it really works for cooling. So far it's still kicking. Our heat wave died down some. I'm glad the repairman got your air conditioning fixed. :)

Cooling...

agreeable...

We went from a heat wave right to some record lows for August apparently, including a nice 11 degrees celsius currently(though it is nighttime, but still!) Weird weather sometimes.

enjoyed

Your weather sounds like ours. The month of July was a wet one here but the heat did not relent.

Jubilation...

Oh, I wouldn't have liked that, especially if the rain and heat made it humid. I mind humidity more than I do heat. :)

Festivities...
I know it can't last but I'd rather not think about normal August temperatures returning. Granted it's nighttime but right now we've got a very nice 15 C. :)

I went to bed last night, I think it was still at 87 F.
You get very accustomed to ceiling fans

Wow, that was still very warm for night. We had thunderstorms last night, which weren't so bad for the most part, but a couple claps of thunder were terrifying! It sounded like the ground shook, almost.

My ceiling fan is in dire need of a good dusting. I hardly ever use it, and I see some major dust-bunnies up there.

That would be nice. I've heard of pillow cube for side sleepers, but it just doesn't seem...pillowy enough, for lack of a better word.

Yeah, the pillow cube probably wouldn't be too comfy that way.
I keep waking up at various weird times because I keep thinking I'm hearing somebody going "Pssst!" whisper-like in my face like somebody trying to get my attention. It's really creepy. I'm assuming it's a hypnopompic hallucination, which I've had happen a time or too. Who knows, maybe it's me making the sound and waking myself up. Always happens after my husband is gone, so it's not him. The sort of creepy part is it sounds sort of like him, though.
