The object of the game was explained in the first post of this thread by prab~:

I was just visiting and realized this forum was empty. Every tavern needs a word link. Its a simple game where you say a word related to the last word. An example would be snake -> viper -> car -> thunderbird -> firefox. They are fun and quick. If you get a chance just post a word. I will start it with BALOON. Enjoy.

I would like to add that you should attempt not to repeat words or phrases already used.
