There's been crows hanging around one of the parking lots in town in the evening. We saw them when we went to dairy queen drive-thru. We thought it was strange they were there, but apparently it's a normal crow behavior called a roost. I looked it up. Some guy tried to run them over. I maaaay have yelled some things at him that weren't exactly lady-like!
Weirdly enough we went for coffee this evening, and I could hear crows cawing the whole way there and back. Maybe there was a bunch flying overhead, I couldn't see them because it was dark by then.

People pick strange [laces to hang out.
In my teenager years we all drove around a drive thru restaurant to be seen.

Our teenage place around here used to be another parking lot in town. Kind of boring, actually. Now the same people who were there are still sometimes there after being grown up and old, but you see them sitting there staring at their phones most times, now.
