Well, chewdz couldn't you adjust the monitor [temporaily] to a optimal resolution such as 1280x1024 (for scanning), and then readjust it to 800x600?

The scanning might take longer if the file is large (eg. 10MB).

right click scanning was only designed to scan only a couple of files, not a whole cd. :)
 
i have not found another way to scan cds with spybot, it doesnt scan all my drives in the other scan. why doesnt it do that?
 
Spybot can scan a whole drive, except it's not 'designed' to work like other anti-malware programs... take SpywareDoctor for example. I have to say, it's database is large. So SD will work differently, like for a on demand scanner.

You can scan a whole drive, except it would be resource intensive, time intensive, and a strain.
 
hmm, maybe i have not tried to scan cds/dvds with the on-demand scan but only with the rightclickscan in spybot 1.6.:oops:

1.5 didnt scan cds/dvds to me.

does 1.6 scan cds/dvds to you?

Spybot-SD v.1.6.0.30 is the version when the integrated right-click scanning function came into action. During installation you can choose whether to enable the integration of the scanner into the Explorer menu.

set your dvd player on random and put on a meditation cd to get rid of your frustration. get on your knees afterwards on a carpet and pray.

On random? Uh... How to do that? I don't have any random button on my dvd player.
 
i was not talking about you, but it is like that on some forums.

i dont have a random button on my dvd player either, but i have had it on some cdplayers.
