thank you so much for your help.:bigthumb: you guys are great to do this service for donations only. i just read the system restore info if i would have just restored my computer to a restore point when i didn't have this virus would it have been OK? or would i have had to do all this anyway? the reason i ask is i will make a restore point right now that i know is good and if it happens again i can just do the restore

I wish it was that simple if for the 1000s and 1000s of people that post to this forum and all the others if all we had to do was to tell them to do a system restore. There are some threats that block that feature but even doing a system restore there will still be bits and pieces of the infection present that could hamper normal operations of your system, believe me the dirtbags that write this garbage have it all figured out.


I will keep this thread open for you for a few days, post back and let me know how it went in the networking forum at WhattheTech.
